LT has been working with the Department of Education to implement their plan for Mobility Labs that provide flexible workspaces for staff who do not need a full time office or workstation. In each of these designs flexible space, often referred to as “Hotelling” where staff reserve a space in advance is implemented along with support spaces such as adaptable rooms with video conferencing to enhance the flexibility while strengthening communication and coordination within the department. LT’s designs promoted open spaces, naturally lit with ergonomic workstations meeting ADA standards.
