The project for the Beltsville Research Facility’s (BRF) Vivarium will include the renovation and addition of approximately 3,000 SF to the existing 10,000 SF one story research facility to provide a new Vivarium and renovated laboratories for the Food and Drug Administration. Also, the goal of the Study was to accommodate the requirements for the CVM animal areas (Procedure Rooms / CT X-Ray and Holding Pens) and the CDRH Labs and offices for occupancy by people. Additionally, the program required that we provide the support spaces for the X-Ray and handling of materials.
