Renovation, Windows/Doors Replacement
Langley Park-McCormick Elementary School is a two-story structure built in 1958 with a 1979 addition. Leuterio Thomas was tasked to design new window system as the existing has exceeded its service life causing costly maintenance and safety concerns. An added scope is the replacement of all exterior doors and windows at the Kitchen and Administrative offices. Removal of existing exterior doors and installation of new doors are also part of the design effort. Storefront exterior doors situated at the main entrance and at the west side of the building, are aluminum with tempered glass.
